We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Head of Technology & AI, a global senior leadership role responsible for defining our agency-wide vision for technology, AI, and digital capability. This role will lead the development of a connected ecosystem spanning Martech, CRM, automation, analytics, AI innovation, and digital experience technology, driving growth, competitive advantage, and operational efficiency for both our clients and the agency.
You’ll shape the roadmap, guide platform decisions, steer emerging capabilities, and partner closely with leaders across the business to embed technology and AI into every service offering. It’s a role that blends strategic direction with hands-on delivery, combining commercial leadership, technical depth, and strong consultancy skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
The Role
- Define and own the agency’s Technology and AI strategy, aligned to client transformation goals and commercial growth.
- Lead the build, integration, and optimisation of digital ecosystems covering websites, microsites, CRM, apps, and Martech.
- Set direction for technology partnerships including CMS platforms, ABM platforms, marketing automation, and supporting tools.
- Develop technology roadmaps across CRM, web, Martech, and platform architecture.
- Consult and advise clients on the application of AI (both Generative and Knowledge-based) across a range of use cases, spanning revenue growth and marketing, to operational efficiency and compliance.
- Lead the agency’s approach to AI adoption including AI strategy, AI-enabled marketing, AI for performance, and AI for digital experience.
- Direct innovation programmes exploring new capabilities across automation, personalisation, and advanced analytics.
- Provide leadership across data visualisation, reporting, and insight activation, working in line with the Media team.
- Partner with Consultancy, Strategy, Creative, and Media to embed technology and AI into pitches, programmes, and client solutions.
- Act as the senior point of expertise for technology direction, platform choices, ecosystem challenges, and digital operations.
- Guide the development of new technology and AI services, owning the roadmap and driving growth.
- Represent the department within the management team and contribute to agency-wide strategic planning.

- Significant experience in technology, AI, digital platforms, or Martech leadership within a marketing or B2B environment is a must.
- Strong understanding of Martech, CRM, ABM, automation, CMS platforms, data ecosystems, and digital experience technology.
- Experience designing or directing complex digital ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of how AI supports marketing, content, performance, web experience, and optimisation.
- Commercially minded with experience owning or contributing to a P&L.
- Able to translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable direction.
- Confident presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Positive, collaborative, and empathetic in approach and leadership style.
- Able to travel when required across the UK, Europe, and the US.
